It seems like classes of this sort are always presented by experts who have done it a hundred times, and for those of us who are new they often seem to have lost touch with the concerns of the novice cruiser. This class is for the first timer or those who might just be thinking about taking the 'thorny path' trip. The class provides some background and information on how to cruise from Florida to the Virgin Islands by island hopping upwind through the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands to Hispaniola and Puerto Rico and makes recommendations on reference material, timing, and methods.
